Katie

Katie was born and raised in Gwinnett County, GA. Her love for animals started with lady bugs and it has worked its way up to elephants and humpback whales! She knew she always wanted to work with animals but not sure in what way. After high school she studied biology at Georgia Gwinnett College, then cleaned up after primates for 2 years before going back to school for Veterinary Technology at Athens Technical College. She has been a registered technician for 7 years and counting. Outside of work she enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time with her son Berën and crazy pup Hazelnut!
